Ian Startup and the Green Neighbourhood

Project developed by Ian Startup, a qualified R-2000 builder and home designer.

Ian is involved with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and trains professional builders, renovators and energy evaluators in energy efficient building techniques. He is a QA Auditor and trainer with the Eco-Energy and Energuide programs.

Ian is also a member of CMHC's International Training Team. The Team travels world wide as experts in Canadian building technology and building science.

An active sculptor and silversmith, Ian is also involved as an adult educator and long time South Shore resident.
